Performed reliability engineering functions on programs, using advanced, innovative and original techniques and principles. Analyzed Mechanical & Electromechanical Components on part-piece level. Applied engineering skills to complete all reliability tasks, such as Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), FMECA, Limited Life Analysis (LLA), Reliability Block Diagram (RBD), and Reliability Predictions for Mechanical and Electromechanical Components using Stress-Strength Interference, MIL-HDBK-217, NPRD-95, Weibull Analysis, and Empirical Modeling. Performed Analysis on PWB Solder Joints due to Thermal Fatigue using Steinberg Model. Performed reliability analyses on the following spacecraft subsystems: Antenna & Payload Gimbals, Release Mechanisms, Focus Mechanisms, Propulsion System, and Mirror Assemblies. Participated and Supported troubleshooting and failure analysis and Failure Review Boards (FRB's). Participated in design, manufacturing, and test readiness reviews. Performed Destructive Part Analysis (DPA) on parts and test printed wiring boards to check for metal migration in the ICs Using Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). Led FRBs on cracked capacitors due to mechanical stress, inadvertently solar panel deployment during EMI testing. Worked in the Specialty Engineering (SE) Department, focusing on Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability aspects of various projects. Performed FMECA of Replenisher (Round Loader) for the Stryker LAV (Light Armored Vehicle) project being developed for the US Army under the contract with General Dynamics Land Systems. Performed reliability, maintainability analyses and FMECA of the Vapor Control System (VCS) for C-130 aircraft's Avionics Modernization Program (AMP) under the contract with Boeing. Performed System Safety Hazard analysis for C-130AMP's Vapor Control System. Presented Preliminary Design Review (PDR) to Boeing on Vapor Control System (VCS)'s Reliability and System Safety Hazard Analysis for their C-130 Avionics Modernization Program. Involved in writing the Response for Information (RFI) on the Environment Control System (ECS) for the Future Combat System (FCS) project being developed for the US Army under the contract with General Dynamics Land Systems. Applied various Military Standards such as MIL-STD-1629A for FMECA, MIL-STD-882D for System Safety and MIL-HDBK-217 for Reliability Modeling & Prediction.

Worked as a Mass Properties Engineer for a Small Launch Vehicle to send a payload into LEO. Carried out activities in estimating, calculating, and measuring mass of each component. Calculated moment of inertia, and center of gravity of the Launch Vehicle. Prepared and presented System Requirement Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), and Critical Design Review (CDR) using PowerPoint. Established Mass Properties Control Process, which included Control Plan, Verification Plan, Status Reports, and Trend Analysis Report. Worked with Systems Engineer to develop Verification & Validation (V&V) plan for the launch vehicle.
