This KKAI consultant has designed and/or supervised the construction/renovation of facilities used to house test equipment and engineering test laboratories.
Additional specialties include facilities construction and renovation, planning and supervision of major renovations to buildings used for engineering laboratories and offices, and design and construction of new buildings and vehicle test track.
This consultant offers extensive experience with CAD software, including development of software/procedures for the automatic generation of forge tool drawings based on the finish product CAD database, and software/procedures for the interactive generation of product drawings (seat inserts, straight bevel gears, spiral bevel gears). Also developed computer programs for designing straight bevel gears.
Product development projects include high speed truck transmissions, gear box design, small air pumps, high ratio speed reducers, viscous clutches, lift truck propulsion systems, catalytic heaters, and general gearing (forged & cut, spur & bevel). Has supervised engineering staff responsible for all hypoid and differential gear design/development activities.
Additionally, this consultant offers expertise related to metal forming, including development of a metal forming process for forming parts that require minimal machining to obtain finish print dimensions, specifically bevel and spur gears that require no or minimal machining to the teeth.
Experience in program management includes supervision of product/manufacturing engineers, development technicians responsible for new products and process improvement of current products. Supervised an engineering laboratory, staffed by twenty technicians working on the development and testing of automotive components. Also managed a vehicle test facility, with responsibility for all aspects of vehicle test facility operation including budget planning, accounting, purchasing, and capital appropriations
