Achievements while at the Hagen Drive plant included:
Nissan ZH2 lean project resulted in productivity improvements of 31% with the elimination of one shift of production and the reduction of 16 direct labor head. Nissan ZV7 lean project resulted in productivity improvements of 14% with the reduction of 5 direct labor head. Series II lean project resulted in productivity improvements of 65% with layout changes resulting in the reduction of 1,400 sq ft of floor space and the reduction of 4 direct labor heads.
Achievements while at the Opelika plant included:
Development and implementation of a continuous flow repair welding cell for the rear sub frame resulting in the reduction of 5 direct labor head per shift. Development and implementation of a continuous flow repair welding cell for the front sub frame resulting in the reduction of 3 direct labor head per shift.
Achievements while at the Spartanburg plant included:
Implementation of STD work and line balance at operation 110, 105, 85, & 50 resulting in the reductions of cycle in these operations.
