Physicist

Duties included support for automated jet engine testing, diagnostic vibration analysis, functional and reliability testing of hydraulic, electronic, mechanical and electromechanical devices. Responsible for a broad range of testing, including shock, vibration, simulation, environmental, fatigue and failure analysis.

Project Manager, Mechanical Technology Inc. (MTI)

Served two years as project engineer and three years as project manager of an Automated Vibration Diagnostics project for TAFB. Operations Manager for MTI’s Oklahoma City field office, providing supervision and technical direction to engineering personnel.

Software Engineer, Project Engineer, Process Control Technology, Inc. (PCT)

Specialized in development of test program software for engine test upgrades at NADEP’s Alameda, Norfolk, Cherry Point, Jacksonville, Kelly AFB, and Tinker AFB. Also provided quality control oversight for operating system software and data acquisition software for those upgrade systems. Served as project engineer for a fuel control test stand upgrade at NADEP Cherry Point. Developed TPS software in LabView for a prototype automated Ignition Exciter Test System for TAFB and has provided quality control oversight for the LabView Operating System and Data Acquisition software for that system. Experienced with a wide variety of test cell functions, including facility and engine control, throttle control interface systems, and dynamometer control systems.
