This work involved stress calculations for the furnace structure under the new loading conditions for increased production requirements and the new loading that would be transferred to the existing foundations, and the solutions to support these extra loadings.

Was actively involved in all design processes relating to in-house projects. Was actively involved in the design of new technology relating to the design of Electric Arc Furnaces with our parent company in Germany including the development of the “Shaft Furnace” design. Fuchs builds customized Electric Arc Furnaces and Ladle furnaces for the steel making industry.

Involved in flexibility analysis of piping and supporting systems for high temperature, high- pressure main boiler systems for power plant of petro chemical plant. Complex piping systems for modular units for North Sea Oil Drilling Platforms. Transferred to Saudi Arabia to work as senior mechanical engineer at Aramco Oil Refinery. Was responsible for team of engineers and designers upgrading piping systems on offshore tanker loading terminals.
