These facilities have highly complex utilities including raw and conditioned power (a/c & d/c); HVAC with class 100,000 clean room requirements; pressurized gases including oxygen, nitrogen, helium and shop air; potable, non-potable and deionized water systems; hazardous chemical plumbing (rocket propellants) such as UDMH, Aerozene-50, nitrogen tetroxide, etc.; highly complex physical security systems; high reliability fire and hazardous gas monitoring and alarm systems; and other utilities unique to the launch vehicle and spacecraft industries.
This KKAI consultant offers expertise specific to development of assembly process and tooling for aerospace launch vehicles and has led a space shuttle anomaly corrective action team.
