Dr. Kevin Kennedy founded the firm with little more than a stack of stationery and a telephone in the early 1990’s, and the consulting firm had grown to include access to more than 600 expert consultants by the time of his untimely death in 2008.

Leadership Team Now in Place

Kevin Kennedy Associates Inc. announced the following promotions for the firm:

          • Sharon Kennedy succeeds founder Dr. Kevin F. Kennedy as the company’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.  Previously a member of the board of directors, she is responsible for leadership, direction, and achievement of the firm’s mission, strategy, goals, and objectives, and for ensuring that the company is strategically positioned for growth.  Kennedy will use her Harvard University and White House experience to implement and manage major initiatives that continue Dr. Kennedy's vision and client responsiveness commitment.

          • Randy Clarksean, Ph.D., P.E., promoted to President of the company, will continue managing day-to-day operations, guiding strategic planning, serving as an expert resource on client projects, and working to ensure that all clients receive the highest level of value.  Clarksean joined the firm in 2004 and brings with him nearly 25 years of engineering experience.  During this time, the company has experienced continued and rapid growth, of which Clarksean has been a critical component.

          • Tom Weisgerber is promoted to Vice President of Engineering.  Over the course of his 40-year career as an engineer and manager, Weisgerber has earned numerous patents, industry awards, and is one of the first inductees in the Delphi Automotive Systems Hall of Fame.  His Kevin Kennedy Associates responsibilities will include providing counsel to upper management, guiding marketing efforts, forging new relationships with new expert associates, and overseeing quality control on ongoing projects.

          • Scott Campbell is promoted to Vice President of Business Development.  Campbell excels at understanding customer needs, translating those needs into well-defined action plans, and executing those plans.  He has managed programs with $100 million+ budgets and led engineering development teams for large firms.

Weisgerber and Campbell will also provide essential support to Chairman and CEO Kennedy, President Clarksean and the rest of Kevin Kennedy Associates management team.
