EXPERTLY ORCHESTRATED GENIUS

Indy Design Awards Show

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – November 9, 2009 – Miles Design, the firm responsible for developing Kevin Kennedy Associates’ refreshed brand system, was recently recognized for outstanding work. In fact, four separate Miles Design entries were featured in PRIME, the AIGA Indy Design Awards Show. Among them, our new materials.

Congratulations to Josh Miles and the entire team at Miles Design. We are honored that our new identity system was included in this prestigious show. Congratulations are also in order for the Kevin Kennedy Associates staff. Their input help shaped the look and feel of each element of our identity system.

AIGA, the professional association for design, is the oldest and largest professional design organization consisting of more than 22,000 members and 64 local chapters across the country. The local Indianapolis chapter represents design students, professionals, and educators all across Indiana--providing a mix of events, initiatives, outreach programs, and more.

This is the first year for PRIME.  The pieces honored this year were selected for their visual excellence and demonstration of strong design processes and real-world, measurable results for the client. Accepted work will be on display until Thanksgiving at Dean Johnson Gallery in downtown Indianapolis. After that, a book showcasing the work will be created and distributed both locally and to AIGA chapters across the country.

We are thrilled that Miles Design is being recognized by their peers and the Indy design community. We also extend our congratulations to all the designers whose work will be on display and to our fellow companies and individuals being recognized along with them.
