Fire Forensics Consultant Jobs
We are currently accepting applications / resumes from candidates with expertise in the following area. We offer positions both as Lead Consultants and as KKAI Consultants.
Fire Forensics Consultant
Seeking individuals with training, accredited certification, and degrees in fire science or related fields, and experience in investigation of fire causes, fire codes, hazardous materials, safety and loss control. Expertise in determining the cause and origin of structure fires, vehicle fires, boat fires, and criminal arson investigation is desired.
Candidates should exhibit ability to work with engineers, scientists, insurance companies, adjusters, law firms, and government agencies, and possess a thorough understanding of methods of field investigation, engineering and forensic analysis in investigating fires and explosions, processing fire scenes, identifying burn patterns, diagramming, photographing and/or videotaping the scene, collection, identification and preservation of evidence, documentation of findings, serving in the role of expert witness, principles of fire ignition, combustion, accelerants and explosives, techniques and methods used in conducting investigations of fires, arson, explosions and hazardous materials, practices and techniques used in law enforcement work, evaluation of evidence from a fire scene and accurate determination of its cause, origin and circumstances.
