Oversaw department with 10 faculty and staff (full-time and adjunct), 177 undergraduate students and 23 graduate students. Was responsible for faculty staffing and evaluation, scheduling, curriculum development, student advisement, student recruiting, student placement, articulation program development, industry relations. Interfaced with College of Architecture, Arts and Humanities as well as the University.

Associate Professor, Construction Science And Management, Major University

Taught Materials and Methods II & II to Construction Science students and Architectural students. Taught Environmental Systems I to Construction Science and Architectural students. Developed and taught Environmental Systems II to provide a greater exposure to building systems for students about to enter the construction industry. Recruited the design team, developed marketing strategy, participated in sales presentation and negotiation, negotiated supplier and trade contracts, supported cleanroom activity of parent company (Zellweger-Luwa), and provided technical oversite and review. Participated in acquisition of Lepco Inc. Supported Luwa goal of penetrating U.S. bio-pharmaceutical market. Made presentations on ISO cleanroom design/construction standard on to ISPE annual meeting in Tampa. Performed work for a number of bio-pharma companies including Becton-Dickinson, Schering-Plough, PDC, Kendall, and others.
