Steel Leveling and Cut-to-Length Line
A Wisconsin can maker had bought a used processing line from a used equipment dealer. This consultant was retained as an expert for the plaintiff can maker owner. The purchased equipment did not perform according to the supplier's specifications and consistently did not produce an acceptable product. This consultant inspected the line and analyzed its operation, finding it deficient and not according to what had been advertised and guaranteed. Based on this consultant's deposition, the supplier declared bankruptcy and this consultant's client won the case.
