ABBCE Nuclear Operations
This consultant performed a review of the quality program of the Nuclear Fuels Division to assure the program still met all the requirements of national standards and regulations after the Quality Department was made part of the production department. Also reviewed the Quality Program with regard to efficiency, costs, and effectiveness.
BFM Energy
This consultant provided technical guidance and support in the development of BFM Energy's Quality Assurance Program and their successful effort in obtaining an ASME Section III, N type Certificate.
Wolf Creek Nuclear Station
This consultant provided on site guidance and technical support in the development of Wolf Creek's Quality Assurance Program pertaining to ASME Section III and National Boards NR and R programs. The support included assistance to the Wolf Creek staff during their successful surveys by ASME and the National Board.
BW/IP (Borg Warner Industrial Products, formerly Bryon Jackson Pump)
This consultant provided on site technical support in the complete rewrite of BW/IP ASME Quality Assurance Program and technical assistance during ASME Survey. Reedy Associates also provided technical support in the resolution of Quality concerns addressed by the NRC. Both of these efforts resulted in successful completion.
Chicago Bridge & Iron (CBI)
This consultant provided guidance and technical assistance in the development of the CBI Quality Assurance Program to incorporate provisions of NQA-1. This resulted in the issuance of ASME N-type Certificates to CBI by ASME.
EG&G Idaho, Inc.
This consultant provided on site evaluation of the TVA Watts Bar Quality Assurance Program. This evaluation included the review of the QA and Welding Program from the start of the project until completion and resulted in the verification at all aspects of the ASME Code and NRC Regulations had been incorporated.
Illinois Power
This consultant provided on site guidance and technical assistance in the development of Illinois Power (Clinton Station) ASME Quality Assurance Program. This included the evaluation of NRC requirements as well as ASME Section III. The result of this effort was the issuance of the ASME Certificate.
Newberg Construction
This consultant provided technical assistance for the development of the ASME Quality Assurance Program. This resulted in a successful ASME survey.
Cincinnati Gas & Electric
This consultant provided on site review and evaluation of the fabrication and Quality Assurance at the Zimmer Power Plant. Our findings showed that the Quality Program had areas of non-compliance, but the fabricated items were found to be technically adequate.
Westinghouse
This associate served as consultant to Westinghouse on Angra Nuclear Power Plant in Brazil. The results were that the Government of Brazil accepted the containment as is with no modifications required.
Public Service Indiana
This consultant was responsible for the development of a Quality Assurance Program for the Marble Hill Nuclear Power Plant. This included providing direction and advice to the V.P. of Engineering and the President on handling allegations of bad quality assurance by the NRC and the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors.
Republic of China (Taiwan)
This consultant managed the project for establishing a quasi-NRC inspection group for Taiwan. This consultant also managed the development of the ASME Quality Assurance Programs for China Ship Building and China Steel, both of which obtained their ASME Certificates.
Chicago Bridge & Iron (CBI)
This consultant was the staff technical advisor for establishment of CBI's first ASME Nuclear Quality Assurance Program.
Chicago Bridge & Iron (CBI)
This consultant was responsible for development of the first CBI Quality Assurance Program. It was used for the fabrication of pressure vessels for the NASA Space Program.
