Keith R. Koontz, P.E., Lead Consultant

Keith Koontz, P.E., has over 25 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, project management, and operations management. His expertise has been used in designing manufacturing systems to produce mil-spec products, automotive systems, industrial safety products, and consumer goods for companies including Texas Instruments, Sperry Marine, VDO Instruments and Stihl Incorporated. Keith is a proven leader and team player with direct accountability for production start-ups and the associated collaboration with marketing, customers, tooling vendors, material suppliers, IT developers and international project teams. Keith also has extensive experience in developing and implementing strategic plans, capacity plans, facility plans, and large capital budgets.

 

Keith has been successful in developing and implementing work flow simplification, process improvements, and cost reduction programs resulting in significant labor and raw material cost reductions through automation, reorganization, application of lean principles and supply chain development.
